President, Education Leadership Academy
Dr. Jeffrey Maiden is the content provider for the Academy. Additionally, he is Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Oklahoma and Director Emeritus of the Institute for the Study of Education Finance. With more than three decades of experience in educational leadership, finance, research, technology leadership, and administrator preparation, he has dedicated his career to developing educational leaders capable of making informed, strategic decisions that improve learning and organizational outcomes.
A nationally recognized scholar in education finance and leadership, Dr. Maiden has authored numerous publications, books, and research studies while serving in leadership roles in higher education, professional organizations, and research institutes. He has also participated in consulting and research projects with state agencies, professional associations, and local school districts, providing expertise in leadership development, strategic planning, finance, policy, organizational improvement, and digital learning. Through the Education Leadership Academy, Dr. Maiden brings together his experience as a professor, researcher, consultant, and leadership developer to support educational leaders in navigating complexity and leading sustainable improvement across educational systems.
Deanna Maiden
Vice President for Outreach
Deanna Maiden is a social media expert, author, illustrator and strong advocate for children’s rights. With over nine years of content creation experience, Deanna creates beauty and positivity to every idea that comes to her mind. Developing a natural talent for illustrating since the age of two, Deanna brings life and color to every artwork she made, turning them into lovely books she has created for children to enjoy. As an Ambassador of Hope for Shared Hope International, Ms. Maiden is a fierce protector and advocate for children. She is always ready to defend a child in need.
At Education Leadership Academy, Deanna uses her expertise from her content creation, writing, and advocacy to reach out to people in a positive, collaborative, and polite manner.
Matthew Maiden
Vice President for Operations
Matthew Maiden assumed the role of Vice President of Operations fully prepared to contribute immediately. Organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented, he is well qualified to support the Academy’s business operations and video production. At ELA, Mr. Maiden manages essential behind-the-scenes functions, including financial operations and computer graphics, that enable the Academy to operate efficiently and effectively.
